Case Study: The Hub

Transforming the power of insights for a global bank

CS The Hub Banking

Using The Hub to bring together existing knowledge, data and insights, making insights more influential.

The issue

To inform strategic decision making and improve the effectiveness of internal communications for a global bank, we were asked to find a way of making insights more influential. We needed to coordinate a vast amount of global research data and make key learnings and insights easily visible.

What we did

We created a centralized repository where users could access insight reports and key data sets. Intuitive dashboards helped make important information and insights immediately clear. This access point was supported by regular articles from the Insights Team to equip decision makers with awareness of relevant insights. In addition, key data sets are automated and visualised for quick and easy access, eliminating the need for lengthy repeat PowerPoint deliverables.

Local and global insights teams can now access all the information they need to plan more effective internal communications campaigns. As the banks 1,300 employees can now use the dashboards to find their own answers, the Insight Team is free to give full focus to important campaigns and projects. Last year saw 670 people log in, with 2500 data page views, downloading 7,555 reports and conducting 4,267 searches.
